Product Description
Tilting disc, resilient seat check valve with lever and weight for drinking water and other neutral liquids to max. 50°C. Not for sea water or other liquids with high chloride content.
AQV tilting disc, resilient seat check valves are installed in pumping applications to prevent backflow in the system. All interior parts are steel or coated with WRAS approved epoxy. The slanted seat mitigates pressure surges by closing the valve before the flow reverses. To further reduce the risk of water hammer the valve can be fitted with a hydraulic damping device, or double damping device.
Features:
Slanted seat reduces the risk of water hammer
Soft seal provides a drop tight closure
Adjustable lever and weight to assist the valve when closing to avoid water hammer - acts also as position indicator
Tilting disc requires only very low pressure to open
Short face-to-face dimension
